Breast Cancer Treatment

What steps are involved in the treatment of breast cancer?

wel, usually have a mammogram and a biopsy to determine sure if you have cancer. also have a CT scan or MRI. then you will have a lumpectomy or mastectomy. after that you may need chemotherapy and radiotherapy, perhaps. depending on whether they have a high level of a particular protein, you may also have Herceptin and then you can take tamoxifen for 5 years thereafter. Radiotherapy is every day for about 3 weeks of chemotherapy is different depending on which cycle that you hope this helps

Breast Cancer Treatments History

Is this a benign or malignant lump in your chest?

Please share your stories if you have something similar. My mother leaves next week for a biopsy 8mm lump found on her left breast near the nipple area. Has irregular edges and the radiologist gave a 51% chance that it is not cancer. She is also 45, has no family history of cancer of any kind, and has recently had a major hormonal changes (losing weight and had a period heavy lasting more than 1 month). Please respond and share their experiences giving details on the size of its mass, shape, benign or malignant condition, and any other information about their experience and treatment or disposal. Thank you for your shared stories.
