Do the symptoms of breast cancer always mean you have to have it?
I have had an inverted nipple since I had my last mammogram and I've noticed blood on my bra but never actually saw blood comming out of my nipple.
Does this mean I have to have cancer or are there other causes. My last two mammograms were normal; last one was in September..
I have had five children which I have breastfed for at least 6 months.
Please tell me this could be something else..I din't want to go to a DR cause the first thing they will say is CHEMO..To me that is like saying..Go TO HELL. I've known people that feel like crap the rest of their lives, even though they are over the cancer..
as a 17 year survivor of stage IV breast cancer, i can tell you i have had every treatment known to (wo)man; and no recurrence. I have had a mastectomy, bone marrow transplant, recontruction, chemo, radiation....chemo was not the hardest part by any means. there are pills for nausea, medicine for other side effects, wigs for temporary hair loss...the only long lasting side effect was chronic lymphedema after 10 years. The worst thing you can do is NOTHING!!!!!!!!! By the way my 'normal' mammogram was 10 days before my diagnosis. Some people will use their illness for the rest of their life, others are stonger and face the future for the sake of their loved ones. My son was 9 years old-now he's a med student. How could I miss that. For vanity? Hope i'm not too harsh. Make an appointment with a breast specialist Monday morning.
